BrassCuZn40Pb2 / CuZn39Pb3

Chemical nickel-plating:
Nickel: 88 – 89,5 %
Phosphorus: 10,5 –12 %
Melting point: ca. 880°C
Degree of hardness: 450/500 Vickers

Thickness of the layer
Generally: ca. 7 µm
Exception: Valve spindles ca. 2 µm

Nominal pressure PN
The nominal pressurePN is indicated in bar with a safety factor of 4 at static load and shown in the technical product tables for each individual diameter.

Temperature range
-40°C to +180°C

Vacuum
Up to 10 -4 mbar, higher values are possible

Tubes to use
True-to-size precision tubes, with smooth surface, witout blemishes or deformation in the zone of the tube union.

Copper tubes:
Tolerances according to DIN 1754/1786 or VSM 11550/11551
All thin-walled copper tubes marked with an * on the table in the appendix must be reinforced with stiffener sleeves.

Stainless steel tubes:
Seamless precision tubes to DIN 17458 Minimum quality of the surface:m, Hardness ≤HRB 80 ≈HV 155
