Hose Connectors

NORMAPLAST® NORMAPLAST® SV are plastic hose and pipe connectors suitable to connect fluid carrying lines.

NORMAPLAST� SV Taper thread connector

1. Taper thread connector

These NORMAPLAST® SV connectors made of Polyamide 6 have a tapered thread on one end and one or two push-on hose connectors on the other end. The ribbing of the push-on connectors ensures that the hose sits securely.

 

The three available thread geometries are colour coded as follows to allow quick visual identification:

  • Metric taper thread: light grey
  • Whitworth pipe thread:anthracite
  • NPT thread:black

2. Hose connectors

Hoses can be connected quickly and simply with one another with these threadless NORMAPLAST® SV connectors:

Push the hoses onto the connectors, simply. The ribbing of the connectors ensures that the hose sits securely.

 

The NORMAPLAST® SV hose connectors are made of naturally coloured POM (acetalcopolymerisat) (other materials are also available).

3. Compression

The NORMAPLAST® SV threaded connectors have a metric thread on one end and one or two pipe unions on the other.These compression connectors are made of black polyamide 6 which is 30% glass-fibre reinforced.

4. Push-on connectors

These NORMAPLAST® SV parts are made to connect plastic pipes, such as PA6 and PA12 pipes.

Additional hose clips are not necessary when these connectors are used.

 

These push-on connectors are made of black polyamide 6 or polyamide 12 and include a 30% glass fibre reinforcement.

The connectors can be supplied with O-rings.
