GRIP Type Series

The NORMACONNECT® GRIP design features:

1. Standard steel band insert

Thanks to the reinforcing steel band insert the coupling can even be used in case of large pipe gaps and vacuum applications. In addition, the shear strength of the coupling is increased.

 

2. Lock bars

For the NORMACONNECT® pipe couplings bars with extra large diameter are used. This considerably improves the rigidity of the coupling as well as the engagement of the bolt threads.

 

3. Conically stamped anchoring ring

The anchoring ring with its conically stamped teeth indents into the pipe surface and provides safe and strong axial restraint. Owing to the special design of the anchoring ring the coupling is able to withstand even high vibration loads.

 

4. New double lip seal

The patented sealing system provides double safety.
